If data is everywhere, it’s expected that it’s not always in a table-shaped format. Beyond the tables and structured data, you can have important information on PDFs, images, videos, and so on. Through Volumes, Nekt supports the storage and manipulation of them too so you can integrate it all in a single place and make sense out of it.
Volumes feature is only available for Growth or Custom plans.
From the catalog, select the layer where you want to store your volumes and click on “Add Volume”. You’ll have your files on the catalog and can reference them directly in your transformations just as you do with the tables.

Quick example

Let’s say you have a bunch of PDFs. Just upload them into Nekt using Volumes and run a transformation that uses Ai to summarize the content of each PDF and turn it into a structured table (get in touch to receive the script!). After that, with your summary table, the possibilities are endless: you can send them to an AI tool, databse or other platform, but can also send it to your preffered communication channel, be it an email or Slack, for example.
